HALLSVILLE, Texas — Hallsville High School Choir is celebrating a major achievement after three students earned spots in prestigious Texas All-State Choirs following the final round of auditions held Friday, January 10, in Waco.

Thirteen HHS choir students advanced to the final round of the rigorous Texas All-State Choir selection process. From that elite group, three students were named to Texas All-State Choirs and will represent Hallsville High School at the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) Convention next month in San Antonio.
The following students earned All-State honors:

  • Sariyah Greenwood, junior — 1st Chair Soprano I, All-State Mixed Choir
  • Austin Teer, junior — 2nd Chair Tenor I, All-State Mixed Choir
  • Violet Dolive, sophomore — 5th Chair Soprano I, All-State Treble Choir
Texas All-State Choir is the highest honor a high school choir student can achieve in the state. These students have dedicated more than six months to intensive preparation, rehearsals, and auditions to earn recognition among the top high school vocalists in Texas.

Their commitment, discipline, and musical excellence reflect both their individual talent and the strength of the Hallsville High School Choir program.

Join us in congratulating these outstanding students on their remarkable accomplishment!
